Research, research, research: You love having as much information up-front as possible. You thrive on using that research to drive the decision-making process.
Strong creative and analytical design skills: You seek to understand peoples’ needs and come up with effective solutions to meet those needs. You can navigate the line between aesthetics and practicality to deliver the best user experiences possible.
Test, test, test: You are passionate about the benefits of testing your ideas and designs frequently and rigorously. Then use your findings to iterate and reiterate until you are confident you have the best solution.
Commitment to completion: You love seeing projects through to the end and are excited by the prospect of working on something that has scope to be used by hundreds of thousands of people.
Communication is key: You can articulate not just what you’ll be doing, but why it’s necessary and how it can be achieved. You have vision, drive and the confidence to make key decisions and explain how and why you arrived there.
Always learning: Self-development is part of your DNA. You are on the pulse with latest trends and industry standards and you have the experience to know how and when to apply them.
Advocate for the user: Above all you are passionate about user-centred design and can empathise with a varied user base, who have a multitude of accessibility, language and IT literacy challenges. You believe that everyone should get the best experience possible, right?
